Meet our Highland cattle! Don’t be fooled by the big horns, they are very shy and timid, often living in a field on the cliff edge overlooking the beach. Beautiful as they are we have them there for a reason. We are trying to re-introduce the dung beetle. Why? Well the dung beetle is a favourite food of the Chough (a very distinctive member of the crow family with a red beak and legs). It has been missing from the area and we are trying to encourage it back. If it comes back we will be ‘chuffed’ to bits!!
